It is amber colour, smells of sweet grains, grass, and a little banana or cloves. A malty and sweet beer with very little banana ester, no hops bitterness, and with a slight touch of roast flavour. There is a good carbonation on the palate with a hint of roasty malt finish.

It is our dark alternative for all those who love extra strong and tasty. Malty aroma and of characteristic Hefetrübe it meets the highest quality standards. Also brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516.

Premium Unfiltered Weiss Beer

Hefeweissbier

It is a medium bodied on the palate with medium-low levels of carbonation that leads to a fine foaminess. Slightly sweet, primarily bread-like, wheat and barley malt, with notable accents of nutmeg and a lesser amounts of banana and lemon-like ester.


It is a spicy-fresh and bright amber color, brewed in the tradition of the great monastic brewing and according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. This creates a great premium wheat beer that sticks out in flavor and color to the ranks of the white beers and DLG awarded annually.

It smells fresh and tasty and has the full flavour of sun-ripened peaches combined with wheat beer. It tastes like freshly picked, sun-ripened peaches are flowing through the wheat beer. It has a subtle sweetness that does not leave a cloying feeling in the back of your mouth.

Contains 26% peach juice. No preservatives.

Cherry

It smells fresh and tasty and has the full flavour of summer cherries combined with wheat beer. Mystic lets you enjoy the taste of cherries all year round. Powerful cherry taste. A tart fruit flavour at the onset gently flowing into a subtle and sweet aftertaste that does not cloy.

It has an extremely refreshing natural tang of lemons, without being acidic or sharp. Citrus fruits give it a light tingle in your mouth with a pleasant sweet and refreshing aftertaste. The aromas from the wheat beer (coriander and orange peel) combine harmoniously with the fruit.

White

WHITE by Mystic is the essence of a wheat beer. It is thirst quenching with and has a full and pleasant finish. Naturally cloudy. A full-bodied and pleasant finish. The subtle notes of coriander and orange peel give it a delicate, spicy aroma. The high fermentation process adds several more fleeting, fruity components.

Witte Trappist

The world’s first and only Trappist white ale that continues to ferment slightly after bottling. Brewed using only water, wheat, and hops. No herbs are added. Saphir hops give the ale its citrusy aroma. A real thirst-quencher on a hot summer’s day that also makes for a delicious drink at any other time of the year.

Dubbel

This has a deep, reddish brown colour and attractive beige froth. The use of caramel malt gives it a gentle aromatic caramelised quality. It has a rich malty flavour with a touch of sweetness. Post-fermenting La Trappe Dubbel is a smooth drink, and yet has some real body and intense flavour to it.

Tripel

It's aroma is slightly malty and estery. This ale owes its crisp and spicy character to the use of coriander and other spices and herbs, as well as to post-fermentation in the bottle. Despite its full, rich flavour, this out-of-the-ordinary ale still has a light and dry aftertaste with a touch of bitter finesse.

Quadrupel

This is La Trappe’s heaviest ale with a stunning amber colour. Its warm and intense flavour is rich and finely balanced. Malty sweet, slightly burnt, and pleasantly bitter with a sweet aftertaste. Quadrupel continues to ferment after bottling and offers aromas of banana, almond, vanilla and others.

Bockbier

This unique seasonal product is the world’s only Trappist bock ale. Brewed exclusively with natural ingredients, this ale post-ferments slightly in its bottle. It has a deep red colour, an intensely rich taste, and a malty aroma. Aromatic hop varieties and types of burnt malt render this ale its delicate bitterness that blends surprisingly well with its slightly sweet undertone.

Isid’or

Named after brother Isidorus, Koningshoeven Abbey’s first brewer. Brewed to mark the occasion of the Trappist brewery’s 125th anniversary in 2009, Isid’or was so well received that it earned itself a permanent place in La Trappe’s line-up. Unfiltered, slightly sweet amber ale with caramel nuts, which continues to ferment after bottling and has a rich, slightly bitter flavour, and a fruity aftertaste.
